Q) Doesn’t particle board swell up when it gets wet?

A) Most materials used in the manufacture of cabinetry will get damage when exposed to water. While it is adversely affected by long exposure to liquid, particle board is a solid, stable material used by most cabinet manufacturers, including those who make fine furniture. Our particle board is an industrial grade quality which is covered with a decorative melamine finish.

Q) What is melamine?

A) Melamine is a resin impregnated decorative paper, thermally fused to an industrial grade of particle board. Thermal fusion takes place under heat and pressure and permanently bonds the resin impregnated paper to the substrate. Finished panels are supplied with melamine on both sides and all visible edges of the material.

Q) How are the units built?

A) We custom manufacture everything to fit each specific area. Every unit is built in and becomes a permanent addition to your home or office. All materials are cut and prepared at the shop and are brought to the job site where the components are assembled into one solid and attached unit.

Q) How do I clean my cabinets?

A) All finished surfaces can be easily cleaned with warm water and mild soaps. Do not use cleansers which contain abrasives, acids or alkalis.

Q) How do I get a free estimate?

A) Call our office and schedule a salesperson/designer to come to your home or business. We will discuss your storage and organizational requirements, take the appropriate measurements and prepare a detailed plan and estimate.

Q) How long does it take to install our cabinets?

A) Once you approve the design, we generally will install your closets and/or cabinets within 2-3 weeks. Custom wood designs require a longer process (generally 4-6 weeks) to allow for material acquisition, production & staining.
